BBP had a great presentation and Q&A with many bright young minds from Cranbrook Kingswood Middle School for Girls!
CWRU’s Leonard Gelfand STEM Center hosted the seventh grade students from Cranbrook Kingswood for several days of experiential learning related to the topic of water security in the Great Lakes. Their visit included presentations, science and engineering activities, and local exploration related to this key issue, and BBP was privileged enough to be included on their agenda.
Ashley Augustine (Education), Sam Stanley (Marketing), and Lei Kang (Engineering) represented several of BBP’s different disciplines as they spoke about the mission of Billion Bottle Project and their individual passions for the organization. The girls from Cranbrook brought a great bunch of questions in return, making it a really engaging afternoon for us. We’re glad to have shared a little bit about our goals with these budding scientists, engineers, and innovators.
