BBP members Sam Stanley and Maggie Linz recently attended the VentureWell Stage 1 workshops in Boston, Massachusetts.

VentureWell is a non-profit organization that provides funding and entrepreneurial support to emerging science and technology inventors. As part of the VentureWell Winter 2019 cohort, Billion Bottle Project was awarded a grant of $5000 and had the opportunity to partake in three days of workshops.

Per VentureWell, the Stage 1 workshop helps teams understand how to articulate the value of their innovation and to validate that the market they have identified is indeed the right one for their innovation. Teams come out of the workshop with the ability to better describe the market or markets they have identified, articulate the value of their innovation in that market, and articulate the competitive position they have within those markets. The workshop will better position teams for the Stage 2 application process.

Many thanks to the VentureWell community for hosting an impressive session! We’re excited to implement what Sam and Maggie learned in our next marketing endeavors as we prepare OSPRI and SANTE for wider use.
