Congratulations to members of BBP’s Grants and Marketing Teams, who were awarded a $20000 grant as part of Stage 2 of the VentureWell E-Teams Grant Program!

VentureWell is a non-profit organization that aims to facilitate the growth of emerging science and technology inventors. The E-Team Program, in particular, supports student innovators through grant funds, entrepreneurial coaching, and the potential to connect with partners in the VentureWell network.

Billion Bottle Project was accepted as part of VentureWell’s Winter 2019 E-Team Cohort for our OSPRI and SANTE technology, and BBP members Sam Stanley and Maggie Linz attended entrepreneurial workshops in January that helped our teams prepare to apply for the Stage 2 E-Teams Program.

With the Stage 2 award, BBP will receive $20000 in funding and send two team members, Sam Stanley and Elaine Lu, to a series of workshops and coaching sessions on venture development. These mentoring opportunities will focus on refining business models, customer validation, and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders.

Much appreciation goes to our tireless Grants and Marketing Teams for all their work on the Stage 2 application! We are very excited about VentureWell’s continued support of our mission to disseminate OSPRI and SANTE on a larger scale and look forward to learning alongside them.
